I have been raving about the beauty of Braised Short Ribs to my daughter, but sadly, when she was home we had no time to cook them. So she took matters into her own hands!

The short ribs recipe is based on The Pioneer Woman's recipe but to make it paleo, she skipped the flour, and instead of carrots and shallots, she used 2 onions and half a fresh tomato, along with fresh thyme, 2 cups of beef broth and 2 of red wine.

The base here is mashed cauliflower made with sour cream.

Clever girl, don't you agree?
